Admissions Process and Requirements
Admissions Office
The Admissions and Marketing Office will provide information about the available academic offerings and guide individuals on how to apply for admission to NUC University.
Those interested in enrolling in the NUC University School of Nursing program must have the following:
Associate of Nursing (ASN) and Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) Admissions Policy
Admission Documents^:
- Proof of Graduation Admissions Requirements.
- Proof of Age: Must be at least 18 years old at the time of enrollment.
- Background Check: as per the Nurse Practice Act (upon enrollment and again prior to the start of clinical rotations).
- Entrance Examination Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) nursing entrance examination (version 7) completed within the last 12 months.
Additional Requirements^:
- Participate in a personal interview with the Director of Nursing and receive approval from the Admission Committee.
- Provide proof of good physical and mental health as evidenced through documentation issued by a licensed healthcare provider complete within the last 3 months before the start of class.
Clinical Requirements^:
- Drug Screen
- Immunization Vaccination Certificate with required health screenings.
- Current CPR Certification
- Additional examinations may be requested by the clinical sites.

Financial Aid
The institution offers access to various federal financial aid for students, as well as an institutional scholarship program. From the financial aid department, we can assist you in identifying and applying for the aid for which you qualify. Visit the Financial Aid section to learn more. Financial aid and scholarships are available to those who qualify.
Transfers
Transfer students must request an Official Credit Transcript from the institution they are transferring from, which should be officially requested to be sent directly to the Admissions Office of the campus of interest.
